Community Forum - Stage 3 Workshop

Newington residents are invited to attend the Stage 3 Community Forum being convened by Auburn City Council as part of the I Love Auburn City project. 

Council wants to incorporate the views and needs of the local community in its plans for the next 10 years. Auburn City Council will be setting goals for all its service areas including waste, roads, parks, community buildings, recreational and library services. They want to find out from you where improvements can be made and what your priorities are.

Suggestions and information Council obtains from the community will form part ofthe Auburn City Draft Community Strategic Plan.This plan will identify the Council's and the community’s priorities and aspirations for the future, including:

• a vision for Auburn City; and
• strategies and actions for for
• how we will achieve the social, environmental, economic and civic leadership objectives of the vision.

Community engagement about the Draft Plan is now in third stage: Public exhibition of the Draft Community Strategic Plan. Come and hear how your ideas have shaped Auburn City’s Future and give us your feedback about how the Draft Plan looks, what it says and how the Auburn City area is represented.
