Letter Box Thieves

There has recently been reports of people stealing mail from letterboxes in some of the strata buildings.

Our security company has been alerted as have the police but we urge Newington residents to follow some simple steps to protect their mail deliveries.

• Lock your letter box. All letterboxes have a key lock so please make sure you use it
• Empty your letter box. Make sure you empty your letter box regularly. If you are going away arrange for a friend or neighbour to collect and store your mail until your return or have it held at the Post Office.

Report suspicious behaviour. If you see anyone acting suspiciously or think you see a thief in action report it to the POLICE immediately.
