Easter Show road closures

The Sydney Royal Easter Show is on from Thursday 21 March and to Wednesday 3 April and will attract hundreds of thousands of people to Sydney Olympic Park.

Sydney Olympic Park Authority’s traffic management to assist the Park's operations during this time includes a number of road closures.

To assist the weekday business period, Dawn Fraser Avenue will be open from Australia Avenue to Edwin Flack Avenue to help with peak hour morning traffic between 7am and 9am on weekdays only. Various traffic control measures will be in place to enable this to occur.

At other times Dawn Fraser Avenue will close between Showground Road and Edwin Flack Avenue to provide a safe pedestrian thoroughfare for the large number of patrons visiting the Show.

For those seeking to exit the Park to Hill Road or Silverwater Road, Sydney Olympic Park Authority encourages road users to take advantage of an alternative route via Bennelong Parkway to ease congestion and to expedite your trip out of the Park.
